Copper Range Hood -Do It Yourself
This copper range hood was created by Pamela G. using our copper sheeting.
“The copper range hood is approximately 33" wide x 53" tall. We used 8 mil copper sheets to wrap the crown molding and trim and 16 oz smooth copper sheeting and hammered copper sheeting for the flat pieces. We glued the flat pieces to our plywood covered frame and soldered the corners and the trim pieces on. We have never soldered before so it was definitely a learning experience. We are very pleased with the result and it saved us so much money compared to buying a custom hood.”
