This incredible counter top transformation was completed by Mitchell Wren using our 5 mil copper sheeting. He used 2 layers of 3/4" MDF to make the countertop base and then used contact cement to attach the 5 mil copper to the MDF. He rolled the copper over the edge and used a salt and vinegar solution to age the copper. After aging the copper he put on a flood coat of a two part epoxy resin as a sealant. Mitchell says it took his wife 4 months to convince him that he could do the project, and about 40 hours to complete. Mitchell adds that he would like to thanks his dad for the free labor to help them complete it.
