Copper Painting- by Ronald Sheldon of Washington State

This beautiful painting of an eagle on copper, was created by Ronald Sheldon of Goldendale, Washington.

The painting is on an 8" x 8" square of 5 mil copper. He uses a torch and acid bath to create the unique coloring of the copper, then he burnishes off the patina to paint on the bare surface.
