This copper luggage was created by Shapour Mirzai from 22 mil copper sheeting. The sculpture is based on a bag belonging to the artist's wife. All the pieces were hand cut and welded using TIG welding and Shapour had to fabricate a tool to make the zipper and the top stitching. The project took 28 hours to complete. The sculpture is currently on display in one of Hlaska's stores, they manufacture and sell high end men's bags, wallets, accessories and clothing.
