This beautiful copper and glass art hanging was created by Karen Aston of Berkshire UK
This piece is "Hare Silhouette" and is one of a series of animal hangings made in England by Karen Aston.
It was created by kiln-firing thin foil copper sheets between black and clear glass.
Karen says the "copper changes colour whilst firing in the kiln, resulting in a multitude of shades, from sandy pinks to stormy blues; occasionally it retains it's bright copper colour. I am an animal lover, and hope that my work reflects this :-)"
