This beautiful copper sculpture of an egret was made by J. Royce Brown. It was created using 5 mil copper foil and #10 copper wire. It is a stand alone sculpture, so the base was weighted with concrete to provide stability. The entire piece was antiqued in what the artist calls an "antiquing chamber", where it is placed in a tight box with a bit of clear ammonia for around 48 hours.
